Gives up, takes corresponding prices. Service is fixed, but restrained. Essen will never do justice to the price, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Wouldn't even be able to keep up with halved prices in Cologne. In the absence of competition, this is obviously possible.

Very nice room. The menu offers a large selection, including nature park dishes. We always feel very there as restaurant guests.

A very nice and very well furnished hotel in a beautiful environment. Food, service perfect, staff like the bosses very friendly and informal. Everything fits, we felt at home. This hotel will see us again every year.

Unfortunately we can not confirm the positive reviews. Positive: The additional fresh bread, the Rothaus beer, the fast service. Ok: The appetizer, although, as so often, with too much vinegar. Negative: The carelessly prepared main courses. The deer was dry, probably portioned in the microwave heated, the side dishes tasteless and lukewarm. The veal was better, but again the side dishes were without finesse. For a kitchen with claim is still much air up ...

Old, antique furniture, historically flat. Good rural ambience, very good food, experienced server-in. Z.T. a bit smoky.

Several times spent a few days and always a pleasure to enjoy the kitchen. From soup to dessert a culinary delight. The hotel tip top the spa comfortable and the whole family with the staff very friendly and accommodating. I will come even more opener. Many greetings from Aargau. We hope the Morenköpfe have tasted.

Very good food and a friendly atmosphere

Nice restaurant, fast and good service.

There were five of us (2 adults + 3 children) as part of a larger group (approx. 25 people) and even if the hotel was not designed for families, the friendly hotel staff cleverly found a very good solution. But the food is really excellent in this hotel. The breakfast buffet is varied and of very good quality. The evening menu is always excellent and has always tasted the most choosy of the participants.

Really good restaurant! We arrived here accidentally since the one we wanted to go was closed. And it turns out to be a pleasant suprise😄. The food was very decious. I ordered a beef dish (begin with ox... I forget the German name :p) and it was surprisingly nice. The meat was very tender, and some part was a little crispy from baking (smells really nice!). They also provided some special golden noodles with some gravy for free! Although the chance that I come here again in a short time will be low (we were traveling here), I highly recommend it!
